  • RAIN or SNOW can be added to your story to make scenes much more realistic.

  • Add the weather next to the background name using the command "with effect"

EXT. CABIN - NIGHT with effect HARD RAIN

  • If you have overlays next to the background name, the weather effect needs to be added at the very end after all the overlays.

​

EXT. CABIN - NIGHT with TRUCK with UMBRELLA with effect HARD RAIN

​

  • To turn off the weather effect, you will need to reset the scene by adding the background name in again without the weather effect, and replacing all characters and overlays in the same spots.

  • Weather effects cannot be layered, which means you cannot place a character or overlay in front of the weather effect.
